3rd and 4th Class Power Engineers for our client's plant operations in

- Pay Rate:
- $36.55/hour (4th Class Power Engineer)
- $41.55/hour (3rd Class Power Engineer)
- +$0.60/hour rotating shift premium
- Location: Wynyard, SK
- Shift: Rotational 12-hour shifts (days and evenings) on a 3-week rotation

Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain steam boilers and ammonia refrigeration cooling systems
- Monitor and control automated and computerized plant systems
- Conduct maintenance on pumps, compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and vacuum pumps
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, leak detection systems, and other plant instrumentation
- Perform daily inspections and water testing
- Maintain operating logs, equipment readings, and required reports
- Accurately document completed work, parts usage, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with maintenance team members and other departments to ensure optimal plant performance
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors
Qualifications and Skills:- Valid 3rd Class or 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
- In Saskatchewan, 4th Class Power Engineers must also possess a Refrigeration Ticket to work with anhydrous ammonia systems
- Refrigeration certification is considered a strong asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, boiler, and refrigeration systems
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and attendance record
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
