Responsabilités

• Alimenter la machinerie en matière première.
• Opérer la plieuse ou la cisaille d'acier d'armature.
• Opérer un pont roulant selon les besoins du poste.
• Démêler les tiges d'acier sur des tables de coupe.
• Attacher les paquets sur la ligne de production.
• Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.

Compétences Essentielles

• Être en très bonne condition physique et capable de soulever des charges lourdes allant jusqu'à 50 livres.
• Avoir plus d'un an d'expérience comme opérateur de machine en usine.
• Expérience en acier.

Environnement De Travail

Travailler dans un environnement lié à l'acier, avec des horaires de soir de 15h15 à 23h45 du lundi au vendredi, et de 15h30 à 00h00. La formation initiale de 1 à 2 semaines se déroulera de jour, de 7h à 15h30.

Job Description

We are a leader in the rebar and post-tension steel industry, with decades of excellence and thousands of projects to our credit. Known for our commitment to health and safety, friendly work environment, and spirit of innovation, we proudly contribute to major construction projects across Canada and worldwide. Rebar acts as the skeleton of a building, ensuring its strength and stability for years to come.

Responsibilities

• Supply machinery with raw materials.
• Operate rebar bending or shearing machines.
• Operate an overhead crane as needed for the position.
• Untangle steel rods on cutting tables.
• Attach packages on the production line.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Essential Skills

• Be in very good physical condition and able to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds.
• Have more than one year of experience as a machine operator in a factory.
• Experience in steel.

Work Environment

Work in a steel-related environment, with evening hours from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM Monday to Friday, and from 3:30 PM to midnight. Initial training for 1 to 2 weeks will be conducted during the day, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
