Resident Services Agent

MatchBox Consulting Group is partnering with a respected Canadian real estate owner, developer, and property manager to find a Resident Services Agent for its Victoria portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused property professional who enjoys working directly with residents while supporting the day-to-day operations of a well-maintained residential community.

This role offers exposure to leasing, resident relations, building operations, and property administration within an organization known for its collaborative culture and commitment to employee growth. Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process for vacant suites, including applications, reference and credit checks, and tenancy agreements.
• Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and elevator scheduling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to resident inquiries, maintenance requests, and concerns.
• Support regular building and suite inspections.
• Coordinate contractors and service providers while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
• Collect rental payments and assist with banking and financial administration.
• Assist with rent collections, notices, and tenancy-related documentation.
• Process invoices and maintain accurate property records.
• Support fire and life safety procedures and other site administration requirements.
• Assist the Community Manager with operational and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in residential property administration and leasing.
• Experience working in rental or multi-family residential environments.
• Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and related legislation.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Yardi and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and resident-focused approach.
