Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment in the Burlington/Oakville, ON area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys coaching a team, improving equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production in a fast-paced 24/7 facility.
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead daily maintenance activities, drive preventive maintenance performance, support continuous improvement, and help reduce downtime across production and facility equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and participate in equipment and facility maintenance activities.
- Develop, maintain, and improve preventive maintenance programs to ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Schedule and manage daily maintenance priorities, including equipment setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency response.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop maintenance team members while managing attendance, vacation coverage, and shift support.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA, GMP, GDP, company SOPs, safety policies, and applicable manufacturing standards.
- Coordinate outside contractors, manage spare parts inventory, support continuous improvement initiatives, and communicate maintenance updates to cross-functional teams.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
