Marketing Coordinator Calgary, AB | Hybrid: in office Monday to Thursday; remote Friday
Our client is looking for a hands-on Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help bring a well-established Canadian consumer brand to life across retail, digital, social and community channels.
This is an ideal next step for a highly organized marketer who enjoys moving between creative work, digital content, product launches, sales support and partner coordination. You will work closely with Marketing, Regional Sales, agencies and suppliers to keep campaigns moving, ensure brand materials are current, and help the brand show up consistently wherever consumers engage with it.
You will also act as the day-to-day marketing liaison with the Canadian Football League (CFL), helping coordinate partnership activities, promotional assets and communication plans.
Some of what you will do in this role includes: - Coordinate point-of-sale materials for Regional Sales teams—from gathering needs and approvals to supplier sourcing, budgeting and delivery.
- Support the development and upkeep of the Canadian website, including imagery, product content and updates.
- Help shape, execute and maintain the company’s social media strategy and content calendar.
- Maintain a well-organized library of packaging, product images, logos, digital assets and live product photography.
- Manage product information in the GS1 database for branded and private-label grocery customers.
- Coordinate annual product sampling plans, including requests, product selection, media opportunities, production and delivery.
- Support promotional communications, retail-price and competitor activity tracking, and special marketing projects.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with agencies, promotional partners and the CFL, ensuring initiatives stay on time, on budget and aligned with the broader marketing plan.
You should have the following in your background: - Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- A few years of marketing, brand, social media, agency or consumer-products experience.
- Strong project-management skills and an instinct for keeping details, deadlines and stakeholders organized.
- Comfort working with digital content, social platforms, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Clear, professional communication skills and confidence working across teams and with external partners.
- A practical, self-directed approach: you can take ownership, solve problems and still know when to bring in the right people.
What’s in it for me? You will gain broad exposure to how a major Canadian consumer brand is marketed across retail, product, digital, sponsorship and sales channels. The role offers meaningful ownership early in your career, direct exposure to marketing planning and the opportunity to build the commercial and analytical skills that can lead to a future Product Manager role.
