Our client, Canada's largest retailer, is seeking a Project Manager to manage two projects within the healthcare technology and eHealth portfolio.
Join a high-impact PMO supporting healthcare application projects within Canada’s largest retail organization. This role oversees projects from discovery to delivery, ensuring alignment between business teams and technical stakeholders. The work offers exposure to healthcare technology modernization across multiple projects with visibility to business and IT leaders. The assignment runs through mid-December , with potential for multi-year extensions.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Mid-December , with possibility of multi-year extensions
Location: North York or Brampton, 3 days per week (with some flexibility)
Standard Billable Hours: 40 hours / week
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage healthcare technology projects from initiation through delivery
- Coordinate discovery, planning, and execution phases across all project streams
- Facilitate communication between business teams, developers, and quality engineers
- Track milestones, dependencies, and risks to maintain delivery commitments
- Engage with stakeholders regularly to align project outcomes with business goals
- Report progress and escalations across leadership and PMO governance
Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience leading technical projects and a solid understanding of the SDLC
- Experience leading projects with cloud-native applications (GCP preferred)
- Hands-on experience delivering application projects across the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, pilot, deployment, and go-live milestones
- Excellent communication skills, experience working closely with developers, product owners, business stakeholders and QA
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Quick learner, adaptable personality, able to ramp up quickly
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to project financial management or cost tracking
- Google Cloud experience is a plus, particularly with tools like Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery, and how they support business use cases
