Forklift Operator - Reach and Counterbalance

We are seeking a highly skilled, safety-conscious Forklift Operator (Reach & Counterbalance) to join our clients warehouse team in Mississauga at a Distribution Center. This temporary-to-permanent role operates on a steady day shift from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities
- Safely and precisely operate High Reach, Double Deep, and Counterbalance forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve pallets.

- Navigate narrow aisles and operate confidently at heights, ensuring correct load stability, proper pallet placement, and careful handling to prevent product damage.

- Read pick tickets, labels, and warehouse documentation while utilizing RF scanners to efficiently pull, track, and process stock.

- Complete mandatory daily pre-use forklift inspections, immediately report any equipment defects, and strictly follow warehouse traffic flows and safety rules.

- Maintain high levels of inventory control using strong basic math and counting skills during stock movements.

- Work closely with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams while committing to daily housekeeping to ensure clean, hazard-free work zones.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4–5 years of hands-on warehouse, material handling, or distribution center experience is required.

- Must possess valid, active forklift certifications for High Reach, Double Deep, and Counterbalance equipment, backed by a clean operating safety history.

- Exceptional spatial awareness, depth perception, and the ability to work accurately when positioning loads at high elevations.

- Comfortable using RF scanners, reading digital/physical warehouse tracking documentation, and executing basic inventory math.

- Ability to comfortably lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods in an active, fast-paced warehouse environment.

- Exceptional punctuality and dependable attendance are absolute requirements for our 10:30 AM shift start.
