Job Description
Additional Information
ELEN RX:Students will gain theoretical and applied knowledge of motor controllers and associated systems including power semiconductor devices used for switching applications, building blocks of power systems (power converters) motor control methods and circuit configurations. Students will analyze, build, and test a variety of power circuits used for AC and DC motor control and become familiar with the control and protection
requirements of power control systems
ELEN RX:This course covers AC and DC machines including single and polyphase motors, alternators and transformers. Topics include industrial control systems, semi-conductor based power control systems and process control
ELEN RX:This course introduces concepts of AC and DC circuit analysis. Topics include: electrical quantities, series and parallel circuits, network analysis and theorems, resistance, capacitance and inductance. Instruments, instrumentation and troubleshooting concepts are introduced. Complex numbers and phasor diagrams are used to explain the operation of AC circuits
ELEN RX:The objective of this course is to provide the student with both a theoretical and practical foundation in the analysis, design and implementation of linear and non-linear circuits. This course is a continuation of ELEN Qualifications
