To support its strong growth in Quebec, Parsons is currently actively seeking several candidates in transportation infrastructure, including engineers and technicians in road and municipal engineering, traffic maintenance and transportation planning, and engineering structures.

- Inspection of Québec Bridge, Quebec
- Design of Turcot Interchange, including the cable‑stayed bridge over the Lachine Canal
- Seismic assessments of the Jacques‑Cartier, Clément, Honoré‑Montréal, Alexandra (Ottawa) and Prince‑of‑Wales (Ottawa) bridges
- Major rehabilitation of the Louis‑H.-La Fontaine bridge‑tunnel and the Ville‑Marie and Viger tunnels;
- Construction of the Gordie‑Howe International Bridge (Ontario), as owner's engineer;
- Deconstruction of the Champlain Bridge
- Several other alternative‑mode projects are planned for 2025 in Quebec and Canada, where Parsons has acted as lead designer, owner's engineer or independent certifier.
Current Opportunity
The Bridge and Tunnel Team is looking for a Technician specialized in inspection – Bridges and Tunnels to join our Quebec office.
Ideal Candidate
- College Diploma in Civil Engineering or architect diploma
- Interest in rope access inspection
- 3+ years of professional experience in bridge and tunnel inspection
- Knowledge of Autocad, Revit and Microstation are an asset
- MTMD certifications (inspection, maintenance, construction, and repair of structures, etc.) are an asset

- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Professional Development Opportunities
- Obtain your Rope Access Certification (e.g., IRATA or SPRAT) and acquire specialized skills in inspection and rope access techniques.
- Opportunity to work on unique and complex projects, often iconic (historic bridges, major infrastructures).
- Participate in the preparation and verification of deliverables (inspection reports, drawings, etc.).
Diversity of Assignments
- Varied work, including visual inspections, non‑destructive testing (NDT).

Language Requirements
- Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.
- Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
