Job description

A business development career in Sales Enablement and Proposals, within the Business Enablement practice at PwC Canada, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long-term revenue growth for the firm. We are looking for a Proposal Manager to join our national proposal management team. The Proposal Manager will play a key role working as part of given pursuit teams in various lines of service, industries and regions, working closely with our team's proposal specialists onshore and offshore, and contributing to the development of high-quality, impactful, winning proposals. The successful candidate will provide strategic pursuit guidance, offer comprehensive proposal management support, and may also help prepare teams for oral presentations.

Meaningful work you'll be part of

As a Proposal Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers and creative minds , helping to solve business issues, deliver superior client service and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Support some of our most strategic and high - value proposals, collaborating closely with partners and practice staff, and championing PwC's sales framework
  • P rovide comprehensive proposal management support, working together with more junior members of the team, onshore and offshore
  • Manage the complexity of various proposals, with a focus on project management and quality assurance, managing the proposal process from planning kick-off meetings to submitting final deliverables
  • Develop proposal management plans and monitor overall progress through status calls and frequent written updates
  • Ensure compliance with RFP mandatory requirements and f acilitate or help coordinate kick-off, solutioning and win themes sessions
  • Help edit or write compelling value propositions and assist client service teams to articulate clear competitive differentiation
  • Drive adoption of the firm's standard sales and business development methodology
  • Continuously grow internal firm relationships to expand your network and understanding of the firm's capabilities

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

  • Substantial experience in proposal management and new business pursuits
  • Experience in an accounting or financial environment preferred - in particular, experience dealing with Assurance, Tax and Consulting RFPs preferred
  • An interest in technology trends and upskilling for a digital world, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • Excellent planning, organizational , time management skills , verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to produce high - quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities, and stay focused in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Adaptability and the ability to handle ambiguity
