Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Finance Director on behalf of a well-capitalized, high-growth junior mining company based in British Columbia. With significant financing secured and a major development project advancing, the company is building its internal finance function for the first time. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created leadership role will establish the financial infrastructure needed to support the next stage of growth. This is an opportunity to move beyond maintaining existing processes. You'll build them. From strengthening financial controls and reporting to developing systems and leading a future accounting team, you'll have a direct hand in shaping how finance supports the business as it scales. The ideal candidate is someone who has successfully built a finance function in a growing organization and enjoys creating structure in an evolving environment.
