Job description
Elevate your legal career with BDO as a Senior Lawyer specializing in Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution. This role involves client communication, legal strategy development, and representation across various dispute processes. BDO Law is seeking a Senior Lawyer to bolster its Tax Dispute Resolution team. With over 10 years of experience in tax matters, you will draft legal representation and manage cases from start to finish. Building cross-department relationships at BDO Canada is key to this position. Key Responsibilities: • Communicate with clients and Tax authorities directly • Develop strategies for client representation • Draft legal documents and conduct tax research • Manage matters and evaluate fee estimates • Coach junior counsel and law clerks Requirements: • Member in good standing with the Law Society • 10+ years in tax law at recognized firms • LLM in Tax or similar course as asset • Bilingual in French and English is a plus • Strong analytical and communication skills Utilize your expertise in tax law and relationship building to drive BDO's success. #J-18808-Ljbffr
