Job description
Become a Mine Planning Engineer at Hemlo Mining Corp. in Northwestern Ontario, where safety and innovation intersect. This role focuses on production, ventilation management, and effective collaboration across teams. As part of the Mine Planning team, you will work under a 7:7 or 14:14 shift rotation and directly report to the Senior Production Engineer. You will play a key role in optimizing mine productivity through diligent planning and hands-on involvement in operational processes and safety protocols, paving the way for the mining operation's future success. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure safety and productivity in the mining process • Collaborate with various departments for mine design • Monitor underground conditions for effective planning • Facilitate safety meetings and planned sessions • Support multiple projects and maintain planning standards Requirements: • Mining Engineering Technician or equivalent experience • 1–3 years in underground mining environments • Knowledge of ventilation systems and relevant software • Detail-oriented with excellent report writing • Valid Class G driver's licence and manual vehicle skills Elevate your mining career with Hemlo, where professional growth meets operational advancement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
