  • Prepare test plans and develop detailed test procedures to evaluate client products and materials according to test specifications;

  • Develop test fixtures and prepare specimens to interface with lab equipment such as servo‑hydraulic load frames and high‑pressure gas testing systems;

  • Execute test programs based on test plans and procedures;

  • Evaluate failures through data analysis;

  • Participate in business development and marketing activities;

  • Attend technical conferences and assist in generating business proposals.

Who You Are:

  • Curious and resourceful, with a demonstrated passion for learning and staying ahead in your field;

  • Self‑motivated and organized with strong time management and attention to detail;

  • Ability to travel and work outside of Canada;

  • Ability to work on‑site daily (ie, no remote or hybrid work).

Additionally, you should have:

  • Minimum of two years related experience with a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals, mechanical aptitude and a “hands‑on” approach to learning and task execution;

  • Experience in experimental testing;

  • Background in advanced solid mechanics (plasticity, fracture mechanics);

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks;

  • General proficiency in programming (eg, Python, R, Matlab, C#);

  • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills; and

  • Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, precise, and well‑structured engineering reports, design specifications, proposals, and client‑facing documentation.

Complementary Experience:

  • Experience in project management;

  • Materials testing experience;
