Role Details

  • Work Location – North York, ON
  • Shift/Hours – Monday to Friday (Days)
  • The full base salary range for this position is from $108,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
  • Initial Posting Close Date – August 10, 2026

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality products by overseeing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
  • Oversee product inspections to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality standards and processes.
  • Investigate quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Train employees on quality control procedures and safety protocols.
  • Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies or customers.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
  • Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field required (e.g., Quality Management, Food Science).
  • 3+ years experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years managing and leading teams
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
