We are actively seeking an experienced financial control manager to guide and manage all corporate financial operations. POSITION SUMMARY

As the organization's financial control manager, you will be deeply involved in strategic financial planning and safeguarding operational longevity. Acting as the ultimate bridge between executive vision and ground-level accounting, you will convert financial data into actionable, high-level business intelligence.

Leveraging your professional rigor, leadership presence, and commercial acumen, you will refine existing workflows, support scalability, and maintain a healthy, compliant financial framework aligned with long-term corporate goals.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Act as a financial partner to leadership by providing insights, recommendations, and key information to support informed decision-making;
• Contribute to the organization’s growth and evolution by supporting strategic initiatives, improvement projects, and acquisition-related activities;
• Assess existing financial processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational performance;
• Maintain a strong financial framework by overseeing accounting practices, internal controls, and financial procedures;
• Prepare and analyze financial information required to monitor performance, including financial reports, budgets, and forecasts;
• Coordinate financial closing activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting information;
• Collaborate with external advisors and specialized partners to support business initiatives and organizational needs;
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial, regulatory, and tax requirements.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

• Possess strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and the ability to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial information;
• Bring 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a role involving financial analysis, controls, and business decision-making responsibilities;
• Hold a CPA designation along with a university degree in Accounting or a related field;
• Fluent in French, both written and spoken; functional English proficiency is considered an asset;
• Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to effectively work with various stakeholders;
• Be comfortable working in an evolving environment where autonomy, adaptability, and continuous improvement are valued;
• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities, sound business judgment, and a structured approach to developing relevant recommendations.
