Job description
Take charge as the Chief of the Economic Regulatory Framework Section at ICAO, where you will enhance the economic regulation of international air transport. Bring your expertise in aviation economics and policy development to this strategic role. You will lead a team focused on creating coherent regulatory frameworks, supervising economic policies, and facilitating funding for aviation projects. Collaborate with global partners to ensure efficient navigation of air transport regulations, impact funding access, and promote fair competition. Key Responsibilities: • Manage ICAO’s economic regulation development initiatives • Supervise policies on aviation infrastructure funding • Conduct monitoring of regulatory industry trends • Foster partnerships for improved aviation policy frameworks • Ensure ongoing support for air transport negotiation forums Requirements: • Master’s degree in economics or allied disciplines • Minimum of 10 years in air transport economics • Experience in international regulatory frameworks • Familiarity with airline ownership and competition laws • Excellent English communication skills required Elevate air transport regulations and engage at a global level with ICAO's Economic Regulatory Framework Section. #J-18808-Ljbffr
