There's an art to perfectly grading a surface or cutting a precise slope with a dozer. It takes thousands of hours in the seat to develop the feel, instinct, and skill that distinguishes good enough work from exceptional work. At FLINT, we're looking for operators who have mastered that art.

As a Multi-Skilled Dozer Operator at our Fort McMurray site, you'll be part of a team that shapes the landscape of Canada's energy future. Your expertise will help us build tomorrow while you build your own career alongside professionals who value both technical excellence and supporting each other every shift.

FLINT is hiring a crew of Dozer Operators for permanent work in Fort McMurray, AB, starting ASAP. This role offers a 6/6 rotation schedule, daily bussing from Fort McMurray, and benefits after 300+ hours.
This is a local position that is best suited for residents of Fort McMurray.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2000+ hours of experience operating a D8+ is required.
  • Open pit mining experience is an asset.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • CSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada)
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Carrying out groundwork in the tailings area of the mine.
  • Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.



Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
