Job description
Take on a significant role as a Senior Aircraft Engineer specializing in aeroelastic simulations that enhance aircraft design and safety. Your expertise will support both new designs and existing aircraft. This position requires you to conduct aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic simulations critical to design studies. You’ll apply your engineering judgment to select the right techniques for troubleshooting complex issues. Collaborate closely with other engineering teams and ensure detailed documentation of your analyses for certification reports. Key Responsibilities: • Execute aeroelastic simulations for aircraft design assessments • Develop and sustain finite element models for analyses • Collaborate with aerodynamics, structures, and control systems teams • Facilitate ground vibration testing and analyze flutter results • Document findings within engineering certification reports Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering • Relevant aerospace industry experience • Knowledgeable in aeroelasticity and aeroservoelasticity • Experience with Nastran and finite element models • Strong programming skills in Matlab, Python, Fortran, or C/C++ Enhance your aircraft engineering capabilities by contributing to vital design processes and maintaining rigorous airworthiness standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
