The First Nation School Board (FNSB) was established in February 2022. Our main office is located in Whitehorse Yukon on the territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Taan Kwächän Council. FNSB serves and works in partnership withVuntut Gwitchin First Nation Liard First Nation Ross River Dena Council Champagne and Aishihik First Nation White River First Nation Taan Kwächän Council Kwanlin Dün First Nation Selkirk First Nation Carcross/Tagish First Nation and Kluane First Nationfor the schools and Learners on their territories.

For more information on the First Nation School Board please visit Land and Language Connector plays an important role in connecting students staff and the school community to the land language and culture of the Liard First Nation. Working collaboratively with school staff Elders Knowledge Keepers Liard First Nation and community members this position supports the integration of Kaska language land-based learning and culturally responsive practices throughout the school.
The Land and Language Connector helps create meaningful learning experiences that honour the history knowledge values and traditions within Dene Kéh while fostering students sense of identity belonging and connection to the land. Through relationship-building curriculum support and on-the-land programming the position contributes to student success and well-being while strengthening partnerships between the school and community.
