Job description
Join BPA as a Structural Building Engineer focused on the rehabilitation and preservation of existing structures. Engage in impactful design projects within a flexible and supportive hybrid work culture. As a member of the building engineering team, your role will encompass the inspection and alteration of concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures. You will assess building conditions, perform structural calculations, and provide solutions that enhance the longevity of facilities. Collaboration with other engineering disciplines will be essential for project success. Key Responsibilities: • Lead field surveys and structural evaluations • Execute analyses for diverse structural materials • Create designs for building rehabilitation • Participate in creating technical documentation and assessments • Verify construction adherence to specifications Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structural specialization • 5 years of building structural engineering experience • Active member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec • Valid engineering stamp • In-depth knowledge of asset management principles Bring your structural design expertise to BPA and influence the buildings of tomorrow. #J-18808-Ljbffr
