The Role GrizzlyTrek is seeking one Fourth Class Power Engineer to join our valued client's team as a Plant and Field Operator at a producing facility in the Peace River area of Alberta.

This is a full-time permanent position on a continuous 12 hour rotation covering both day and night shifts.

The role combines plant and field responsibilities: operating rounds, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, minor maintenance support, and accurate shift logging.

This is a local hire, so candidates must already live in the Peace River area and travel to site daily.

What You'll Do Complete regular operating rounds across the facility, recording equipment readings and process conditions Monitor and adjust compressors, pumps, separators, pressure vessels, and auxiliary equipment to maintain stable operation Troubleshoot process and equipment problems, taking corrective action within site operating procedures Respond to alarms and upset conditions promptly and escalate as required Perform valve line-ups, isolations, and lockouts to support maintenance activities Carry out minor maintenance, equipment inspections, and housekeeping in the field Support startup and shutdown sequences on process equipment as required Complete shift logs, operating reports, and compliance documentation accurately at every handover Follow all site safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for field operations What You Bring Valid Fourth Class Power Engineer certificate.

Third Class certificate holders are also considered.

Currently residing in the Peace River area.
