Class 1 Driver $340 daily + OT

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our team for an immediate temporary opportunity. This position involves dedicated switch and local container work with consistent routes and competitive flat-rate pay. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and has previous container hauling experience.
Drivers will be assigned to one of the following routes:
  • Montreal → Joyceville → Montreal
  • Montreal → Johnstown -->Ottawa → Montreal
Schedules vary based on operational needs, so flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
  • Safely complete assigned highway and local routes
  • Perform up to five trailer switches per shift
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Accurately complete required paperwork
  • Communicate with Dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and waiting time
  • Follow all transportation regulations and company safety policies
  • Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
  • Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
  • Valid driver's abstract
  • Valid TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Proof of SST coverage
  • Previous container experience is preferred
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends

Shifts:
  • Available start times include:
    • 6:30 PM
    • 8:30 PM
    • 9:30 PM
  • Weekend shifts may begin at:
    • 8:30 AM
    • 3:30 PM

On est présentement à la recherche de chauffeurs classe 1 pour un poste temporaire avec possibilité d'embauche. Le travail consiste à faire du switch de remorques et du transport local de conteneurs sur des trajets réguliers. Si vous êtes fiable, aimez la route et avez de l'expérience avec les conteneurs, on veut vous parler!

Trajets disponibles:

Montréal → Joyceville → Montréal
Montréal → Johnstown → Ottawa → Montréal

Les horaires peuvent varier selon les besoins des opérations, donc il faut être flexible.

Responsabilités
  • Effectuer les trajets assignés de façon sécuritaire
  • Faire jusqu'à 5 switchs de remorques par quart de travail
  • Effectuer les inspections avant et après le départ
  • Remplir les documents de transport
  • Garder le répartiteur informé des retards ou des temps d'attente
  • Respecter les règles de transport et les procédures de sécurité
  • Offrir un bon service lors des cueillettes et des livraisons

  • Exigences
  • Permis de conduire classe 1 valide
  • Minimum d'un an d'expérience en conduite classe 1
  • Dossier de conduite valide
  • Certification TMD (Transport des marchandises dangereuses) valide ou volonté de l'obtenir
  • Expérience avec les conteneurs (un atout)
  • Bonnes aptitudes en communication et en organisation
  • Disponible pour travailler selon un horaire flexible, incluant les fins de semaine
