Job description
Shape the future of Innergex Renewable Energy as a Senior Counsel specializing in corporate governance and compliance. Be the driving force behind legal and ethical practices. In this essential position, you'll support the Board of Directors and ensure adherence to legal standards and governance policies. Your role facilitates critical decision-making and involves drafting regulations, managing corporate compliance initiatives, and participating in training related to ethical standards. You will also play a key role in maintaining a code of conduct aligned with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Guide governance practices for the Board and committees • Engage in corporate reorganization and legal compliance projects • Prepare agendas, minutes, and documentation for meetings • Monitor market trends related to governance policies • Conduct follow-ups on Board meeting decisions Requirements: • Law degree (LLB) accredited • Quebec Bar member or equivalent required • 7+ years of relevant legal experience • Bilingual in French and English • Strong attention to detail and ethical standards Bring your legal expertise in corporate governance to Innergex and make a difference. #J-18808-Ljbffr
