Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

6-month contract

The Social Media Coordinator occupies a central role in the conception editing and coordination of social media activities. The Coordinator is also responsible for the optimization of the brands presence on social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for writing reviewing and editing marketing material and coordinating social media activities ;
  • Builds and grows social media presence on current & emerging social networks;
  • Monitors & engages in online conversations including responding in a timely manner to mentions across all avenues;
  • Analyses campaign effectiveness through analysis and makes recommendations for future campaigns to optimize resources;
  • Manages social calendar that is distributed on a weekly basis to our key partners;
  • Assists with the creation and management of monthly content calendars;
  • Coordinates all requests for merchandise for Bloggers and special projects marketing initiatives.

Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in digital marketing or social media management; experience in the fashion or retail industry is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook Instagram TikTok X Pinterest LinkedIn etc.) and a passion for digital trends.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using web analytics tools and preparing performance reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
  • Bilingualism (English and French both written and spoken) is required to effectively support our customers partners and internal teams across Canada.
