RUMBLE BOXING — DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE & PERSONAL TRAINING
Built Different. Trained Different.
The Opportunity
Rumble is expanding beyond boutique boxing into a full performance and wellness ecosystem, combining boxing, strength & conditioning, recovery, mobility, and personal training under one coaching philosophy. We're looking for a senior leader to take full ownership of our Personal Training and Performance Coaching vertical: building the systems, developing the coaches, and scaling the business behind it. This is a leadership role, not a client-facing training role. You will define how Rumble trains, coaches, and grows its personal training business across our studios.
What You'll Own
Coaching Systems & Methodology: build and standardize a repeatable personal training, semi-private, and small-group performance coaching system, including onboarding, assessment, and progression frameworks.
Coach Development: recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing coaching team; build internal certification, evaluation, and career-progression pathways.
Revenue & Business Performance: own personal training revenue, retention, and client conversion; reduce discount dependency by building stronger value positioning and reporting accountability.
Brand & Culture: shape Rumble's performance identity and coaching philosophy, partnering with marketing on content and messaging that positions our coaches as specialists.
Recovery & Longevity Integration: bring mobility, recovery, and longevity principles into the training system for a modern, sustainable performance experience.
Core Skill Sets We're Hiring For
Proven leadership experience managing trainers or coaching teams in a multi-location or multi-team fitness or performance environment.
A track record of being accountable for meaningful revenue performance and improving retention and conversion metrics.
A systems-builder mindset, with experience designing scalable onboarding, training, and performance-management processes.
A strong communicator and culture-builder with the emotional intelligence to develop people and enforce coaching standards without ego.
Ideal Background
5+ years in a personal training, coaching, or performance leadership role, with real accountability for revenue and team development. Comfortable operating as both a systems-builder and a people-leader, someone who has outgrown being a top individual trainer and wants to build something at scale.
What You'll Gain
The opportunity to build and lead a new performance vertical within an established, multi-location brand, with real ownership over methodology, coaching culture, and business results, plus a direct path to shape where Rumble's personal training program goes next.
Compensation
$70,000–$90,000/year base, plus performance incentives tied to revenue growth, retention, and coaching system results.
Final Word
If you've been waiting for the role where you build the system instead of just coaching inside someone else's, this is it.
