This position will work part time as a Spa Coordinator and part time as a Spa Attendant.

As a Senior Spa Coordinator/Attendant you will:

• Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
• Take the lead in guiding and directing the daily operations of the coordinator team at the reception desk and the attendants in their daily tasks.
• Work in a “hands-on” capacity assisting the team as they strive to meet or exceed guests’ expectations.
• Assist the Coordinators with managing guest treatment bookings ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, and be prepared to answer questions regarding the services available.
• Have a strong understanding of all products sold in Ancient Cedars Spa and answer guest and team member questions about the spa’s products, prices and inventory.
• Participate in Retail programs, training and meetings.
• Be the contact person for all guests or team members who may be requiring immediate assistance from a senior member of the spa team, and/or follow up with guest concerns as necessary.
• Assist with training and daily coaching as well as participate in updating all training materials for the Coordinator and Attendant Team as directed by the Spa Manager.
• Be true to Our Promise, meet and exceed the service philosophies and standards of the Inn.
• Complete assigned administrative duties, and any additional duties as assigned by the Spa Manager.
• Be proficient in the opening and closing duties of the spa.

• Knowledgeable about, and capable of meeting and exceed, Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 Diamond, and Forbes Standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Housekeeping and Laundry procedures, an asset
• Physical ability to transport large bags of laundry to the laundry room.
• Previous spa product line knowledge an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative thinking, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to schedule guest bookings for maximum treatments per day, and deal with guests professionally in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience of 1 year in another spa or a full-service hotel, an asset.
• Working knowledge of Spa Soft, Maestro, Excel, Word, and Internet applications preferred.
• Must embrace the philosophies of wellness and healing through spa experiences.
• Exemplary guest service skills and a demonstrated willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Ability to make an 18-month commitment to position.

Salary/Wage: $22.00 per hour
