Full Stack Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Developer at RideCo, you will contribute to shaping the architecture, design, and delivery of our industry-leading ride sharing platform. You will own features end-to-end across the stack and drive technical decisions that directly influence product direction. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

BackendDevelopment:

• Design,buildandmaintainrobust,scalableAPIsusingDjangotopowerwebandmobileapplications.
• Implementdatamodelsandbusinesslogictomanagecomplexinteractionsandhandlehightransactionvolumesefficiently.
• Ensurebackendsystemsaresecure,reliable,andoptimizedforperformance.

FrontendDevelopment:

• Developdynamic,user-friendlyinterfaceswithAngular,ensuringseamlessuserexperiencesacrossdesktopandmobileplatforms.
• CreatereusableUIcomponentsandimplementresponsivedesignsthatadaptacrossdifferentdevicesandscreensizes.
• Optimizefront-endperformanceforfastloadtimesandsmoothinteractions.

MobileApplicationDevelopment:

• DesignanddevelophybridmobileapplicationsusingIonicforAndroidandiOSplatforms.
• Enhancemobileappfunctionalitywithnewfeatureswhileensuringcross-platformcompatibility.
• Collaboratewiththedesignteamtocreatevisuallyappealingandintuitivemobileuserinterfaces.

CollaborationandCommunication:

• Workcloselywithproductmanagers,designers,andotherdeveloperstotranslatebusinessrequirementsintotechnicalsolutions.
• Takeownershipinsprintplanning,dailystand-ups,retrospectivesandcross-teamcollaborationtoensurealignmentandtimelydelivery.
• Providetechnicalmentorshipandguidancetojuniorandmid-leveldevelopers.

TestingandMaintenance:

• Writeunit,integration,andend-to-endteststoensurecodequalityandsystemstability.
• Performdebuggingandtroubleshootingtoresolveissuesacrossthestackquickly.
• Maintainandenhanceexistingcodebases,ensuringtheystayup-to-datewithmodernpracticesandtechnologies.

• Leadcodereviewstoraisethebarforcodequalityandteamknowledge.

• Strongexperiencedesigning,building,andmaintainingRESTfulAPIs.
• SolidunderstandingofHTML5,CSS3,andmodernJavaScript(ES6+).
• ExperiencedevelopinghybridmobileapplicationsusingIonic.
• ProficiencyinPython(DjangoorFlask)andAngularframeworks.
• ExperiencewithdatabasessuchasPostgreSQLandRedis.
• Familiaritywithcloudservices(AWS,EC2,RDS).
