Electronics Test Technician for our client in Markham, ON. This is a great position for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional with experience troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic products in a manufacturing environment.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, root cause analysis, and working with advanced electronic systems while contributing to continuous improvement and product quality.
- Pay Rate: $24.20/hour

- Shift: Monday to Friday | 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Responsibilities:- Test, troubleshoot, and repair products across multiple production lines
- Perform root cause analysis on product failures and implement corrective actions
- Set up test stations, instruments, and equipment required for product testing
- Conduct electrical circuit adjustments and verify compliance with published standards
- Analyze schematics and perform functional diagnostics to identify and resolve product issues
- Maintain electronically controlled equipment, machinery, and test systems
- Support prototype and pilot unit testing for engineering change validations
- Process non-conforming materials (NCM) and accurately enter failure codes into ERP systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical issues and improve processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and production performance targets
- Assist with packaging, final product audits, and product shipment preparation as required
- Provide support in electronic assembly and mechanical assembly activities when needed
Qualifications and Skills:- Previous experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, repair, or a related technical role
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and components
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is considered an asset
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality processes is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills and technical reporting abilities
- Electronics, electrical, or engineering-related education is considered an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
