Job description
Join Upper Canada Village this summer as a Bilingual Camp Counsellor and help children aged 8-14 explore historical village life through engaging activities. This role allows you to share your passion for history and language. As a Summer Camp Counsellor, you will lead various activities, ensuring a safe and informative experience for campers. This position runs from June to August 2026 and requires candidates to embody values of diversity and inclusion. You'll work collaboratively to foster a vibrant learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct engaging overnight camp programs • Lead and facilitate various activities • Provide bilingual information to campers • Ensure safety and well-being of all participants • Support school groups during specific months Requirements: • English and French language proficiency • Ability to effectively lead children • Skills in arts, crafts, and games • Familiarity with Ontario’s 19th-century history • Valid driver’s license and first aid certification Enhance your leadership abilities while creating memorable camp experiences at Upper Canada Village this summer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
