Job description
Become the Underground Mine Technical Services Lead at a prominent Canadian gold producer located in Northern Ontario. Manage critical mining operations while cultivating a strong safety culture in a hands-on environment. As a permanent, full-time employee, you will direct the Mine Engineering and Geology teams, ensuring that operational priorities align with strategic goals. With your extensive experience, you will translate Life of Mine objectives into actionable plans while identifying and mitigating risks. Key Responsibilities: • Lead underground mining teams in technical operations • Align production plans with strategies and budgets • Oversee geotechnical programs and operational controls • Ensure safe compliance with mining regulations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost performance Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering or similar discipline • Professional licensure in Ontario (P.Eng. or P.Geo.) • 10-15 years of underground mining experience • 5 years in a leadership capacity • Knowledge of software such as Leapfrog and Deswik Utilize your technical expertise to enhance team performance and operational success in this pivotal underground role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
