Job description
Lead research initiatives as a Grants and Contracts Manager at the University of Waterloo, where your expertise in funding applications can shine. Collaborate with faculty to facilitate impactful research. At the University of Waterloo, the Grants and Contracts Manager is essential for guiding faculty in the preparation and management of research grants and contracts. This full-time role focuses on proposal editing, contract negotiation, and financial administration within a welcoming workplace. You are expected to enhance research outcomes while navigating complex funding landscapes. Key Responsibilities: • Assist faculty with research proposal preparations • Oversee the management and reporting of grants and contracts • Negotiate research-related agreements with funding sponsors • Promote funding opportunities and organize internal procedures • Analyze submissions for method improvement Requirements: • Completion of an undergraduate degree; Master’s preferred • Demonstrated project management experience • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Proficiency in various computer applications • Capability to handle confidential data Utilize your skills to foster research innovation and collaboration at the University of Waterloo. #J-18808-Ljbffr
