Job description
Join Covenant Health as an Infection Prevention Practitioner and enhance patient safety through effective infection control strategies. Engage in a collaborative environment focused on high-quality care delivery. In this crucial role, you will implement and improve infection prevention practices while analyzing healthcare data to identify emerging trends. Your communication and relationship-building skills are essential as you partner with stakeholders to navigate complex infection control challenges. Your efforts will contribute significantly to improving patient health outcomes across various healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure adherence to the latest infection control standards • Promptly identify significant healthcare infections and events • Provide data analysis to drive quality improvement initiatives • Liaise with community health agencies to enhance practices • Lead training and support for clinical staff development Requirements: • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related health science • Active registration with an appropriate Alberta regulatory body • At least three years of relevant healthcare experience • Basic Infection Prevention and Control training commitment • Strong ability to navigate complex situations and facilitate change Champion infection control initiatives at Covenant Health to ensure safe patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
