Job description
DutiesDuties for the position may vary and include: preparation for classes, leading discussions, invigilating and marking. Specific duties are defined in the Description of Duties and Allocation of Hours form by the instructor in charge of the course. Please note duties are conducted in person at the UTSC campus. Minimum Qualifications Includes: ability, academic qualifications, suitability for the position and appropriate background in the subject/specialty. Strong background in Cell & Molecular Biology. Experience in leading discussion sections based on scientific primary literature preferred. Candidates should have experience and interest in leading interactive, active learning sessions (which would be the tutorials for this course). Demonstrated experience in leading discussion sessions is extremely important and interested candidates should highlight this experience in their application. Preferred Qualifications Relevant CriterionPrevious experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
