Job description

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll be able to:

  • Ensure a common understanding of the vision, governance, technology directions, scope and planning of the project among stakeholders;
  • Coordinate stakeholders to ensure consistency of work, rigorous risk management and realistic timelines;
  • Develop, maintain and obtain approval of project plans, including objectives, deliverables, budgets, timelines and governance structures;
  • Facilitate kick-off, follow-up, risk management and closing meetings;
  • Supervise the progress of the work and adjust the schedule in order to meet deadlines;
  • Produce monitoring reports, dashboards, reports and decision-making files for governance bodies;
  • Formulate strategic recommendations and contribute to decision-making in complex technological contexts;
  • Proactively manage timelines and communicate issues related to deadlines or costs;
  • Present the status, critical risks and strategic issues to senior management;
  • Monitor project performance in terms of scope, cost, quality, schedule and risk;
  • Validate the compliance of deliverables with functional and technological requirements;
  • Identify, document and manage risks, issues and change requests;
  • Propose corrective actions and ensure their implementation;
  • Route final deliverables for approval and quality assurance;
  • Prepare communications for stakeholders and decision-making bodies;
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize solutions and solve problems;
  • Act as a liaison point between technical teams, suppliers and stakeholders;
  • Participate in committees and working groups to validate needs and ensure synchronization of work;
  • Ensure alignment between the needs expressed and the solutions delivered;
  • Optimize design, integration and deployment processes;
  • Maintain a structured relationship with suppliers and ensure proactive communication;
  • Follow up on change requests, incidents and technical issues;
  • Support the planning and execution of the transfer into operation;
  • Organize, direct and supervise the work of internal and external teams;
  • Recommend the optimal use of resources and mobilize the required expertise.

The Profile You Are Looking For Is As Follows

  • Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in managing large-scale projects;
  • Experience in managing complex technology projects and custom solutions in environments of comparable size;
  • Demonstrate experience in managing projects with complex architectures, multi-system integrations, and strong interdependencies;
  • Have at least five (5) years of experience in the healthcare industry (a strong asset);
  • Have successfully completed at least three (3) projects each totaling five thousand (5,000) person-days (a major asset);
  • Master risk management, strategic project governance and coordination of deliverables;
  • Be able to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners;
  • Demonstrate leadership in complex and multidisciplinary environments;
  • Demonstrate excellent coordination, organization and communication skills;
  • This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
