Job description
Become the Senior Underground Mine Manager at a large mining operation in Canada, leading teams in a challenging, remote environment. This role is key to operational success and safety. As a Senior Underground Mine Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of underground mining at a significant site. You'll lead a diverse team of senior superintendents and oversee up to 550 employees. The position comes with the challenge of managing complex logistics and ensuring safety and compliance amidst harsh conditions. Key Responsibilities: • Enforce company and legislative safety compliance • Deliver product cost and operational performance objectives • Create and execute effective operating strategies • Supervise maintenance for enhanced operational outcomes • Oversee critical site services to ensure safe operations Requirements: • Extensive experience in underground mining management • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Familiarity with environmental regulations • Knowledge in managing capital projects • Ability to operate efficiently in a remote area Lead your team to success while navigating the complexities of mining operations in this crucial role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
