Job Title: General Production Worker - Afternoon
Job Description
Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will be responsible for building product on-site, assisting in the shipping and receiving of construction equipment, and hanging sheets of poly for climate control and weather protection. This role requires the use of a nail gun and hand tools, and involves continuous bending, kneeling, and crate assembly both in the shop and at various sites in the area. Be prepared to occasionally work outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Build crates on-site and assist with shipping and receiving of construction equipment.
- Hang sheets of poly for climate control and weather protection.
- Operate a nail gun and hand tools.
- Travel to various sites to perform duties similar to those in the shop.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, including a nail gun.
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
- General labor and construction/shop labor experience.
- English comprehension.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with a skill saw.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting lumber.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
- Carpentry experience.
- Crate building experience.
- Experience in construction or lumber shop environments.

Work Environment
Work at Western Canada's largest packaging, and export services company, specializing in both small and large packages for international and domestic export. The role is physically demanding, requiring bending and kneeling, and may be uncomfortable for some. The position operates on an afternoon shift from Monday to Friday, 2 PM - 10:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
