Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of industrial automation projects, from single-robot work cells to complex, multi-robot assembly and welding systems, for a growing integration company.
This role is focused on owning projects from kickoff through customer acceptance, delivering on scope, schedule, budget, and quality while building strong, long-term customer relationships.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is technically fluent, highly organized, and confident managing cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, controls, and installation
Key Responsibilities
- Own project scope, schedule, budget, and risk from order intake through final buyoff
- Manage multiple automation projects of varying size and complexity simultaneously
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and cost tracking
- Lead project kickoffs, design reviews, internal milestones, and customer reviews
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical design, controls, tooling, manufacturing, and installation
- Track budgets, labour hours, and material costs; identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and commercial risks
- Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations

- Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 6 to 10 years of experience in automation and integration
- Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with PLC/robot programming, tooling design, and controls integration (literacy required, hands-on not required)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an asset
- G2/G class driver's license
