Job description
Adecco est actuellement à la recherche d'un Commis intermodal bilingue pour un poste permanent à temps plein. Cette opportunité est idéale pour les candidats possédant une expérience dans les domaines du transport, de la logistique, des opérations terminales ou ferroviaires et qui s'épanouissent dans un environnement dynamique fonctionnant 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7.
À titre de Commis intermodal , vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans la coordination des activités du terminal, la gestion des affectations de wagons, le suivi des mouvements de conteneurs, la préparation de rapports opérationnels et le soutien aux opérations quotidiennes du terminal.
  • Taux horaire : 33,35 $/heure (possibilités de progression salariale selon l'ancienneté et les jours travaillés)
  • Horaire : Du jeudi au lundi | 23 h à 7 h

Responsabilités
  • Affecter les unités aux wagons et coordonner les mouvements de conteneurs.
  • Effectuer le chargement et le déchargement des unités intermodales.
  • Effectuer les opérations de placement, retrait, déplacement et libération des aires d'entreposage.
  • Préparer et maintenir à jour divers rapports opérationnels.
  • Appliquer et lever les restrictions liées aux conteneurs réfrigérés et aux chargements hors dimensions.
  • Soutenir les opérations du terminal par diverses tâches administratives.
  • Coordonner les besoins en heures supplémentaires lorsque requis.
  • Utiliser différents systèmes opérationnels et outils de production de rapports pour soutenir les opérations quotidiennes.
  • Veiller au respect des procédures de sécurité et des protocoles du terminal.
Qualifications et compétences
  • Bilinguisme complet en français et en anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.*
  • Permis de conduire valide.
  • Certification Automated Gate System (AGS).
  • Certificat valide de manutention des marchandises dangereuses.
  • Qualification de Ramper et expérience dans la préparation de rapports de rampe.
  • Solide connaissance des opérations et procédures des terminaux intermodaux.
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, notamment Excel et Word.
  • Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et administratives.
  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à prendre des décisions dans un environnement au rythme rapide.
* Cet emploi nécessite d'être en contact régulier avec des partenaires situés hors Québec, la maîtrise de la langue anglaise est donc exigée

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Bilingual Intermodal Clerk on behalf of our client. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in transportation, logistics, terminal operations, or rail operations who thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
As an Intermodal Clerk, you will play a key role in coordinating terminal activities, managing railcar assignments, monitoring container movements, preparing operational reports, and supporting day-to-day terminal operations.
· Pay Rate: $33.35/hour (Progression opportunities based on completed service and working days)
· Shift: Thursday to Monday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Responsibilities:
· Assign units to railcars and coordinate container movements.
· Ramp outbound units and de-ramp inbound units.
· Seed, strip, place, and release pads.
· Prepare and maintain operational reports.
· Apply and release reefer and dimensional holds.
· Support terminal operations through various administrative duties.
· Coordinate overtime requirements when necessary.
· Utilize multiple operating systems and reporting tools to support daily operations.
· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and terminal protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Fluently bilingual in English and French (written and verbal). *
· Valid driver's license.
· Certified in Automated Gate System (AGS).
· Valid Dangerous Goods Handling Certificate.
· Qualified Ramper with experience preparing ramp reports.
· Strong knowledge of intermodal terminal operations and procedures.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
· Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
· Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience or knowledge of the following would be considered an asset:
  • Import and export traffic operations
  • SAP
  • OASIS Terminal Operating System
  • i-PRO
  • Service Reliability Systems (SRS)
  • Real-Time Business Intelligence tools
  • Lotus Notes
  • Rail, transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
· Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
* This position requires regular contact with partners located outside Quebec; therefore, fluency in English is required.
