Job description

Lakeridge Health is seeking a dedicated Admitting Clerk for an 8 month contract in the Patient Registration department. This position involves registering ER patients, utilizing the EPIC module, and managing insurance information. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: • Register all Emergency patients efficiently • Provide direction and information to patients • Document WSIB and collect insurance information • Handle financial forms and process payments • Answer telephone inquiries and relay messages Requirements: • Medical Office Administration Diploma or equivalent • 2 years recent relevant experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of EPIC registration system • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Become a vital part of the Lakeridge Health team, delivering exceptional service to patients and families in a dynamic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
