Our public sector client is seeking a Organizational Design Specialist (10+ years) to develop organizational design and job design solutions using organizational structures, job evaluation, and skills mapping

This role supports organizational design and compensation initiatives within a public sector environment. The position focuses on operating model design, job design, job evaluation, and skills taxonomy development, including collaboration with business leaders on organizational structures and workflows. The engagement includes delivering organizational design proposals, job profiles, job questionnaires, and service delivery enhancement deliverables. This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in Vancouver.

Contract until March 31, , Vancouver, Hybrid, Working Hours: PST, 37.5 hours/week

Must Haves

• 10+ years in organizational design, job analysis, job evaluation, and compensation
• Korn Ferry Job Evaluation, Korn Ferry Architect, and Profile Manager
• Unionized work environment organizational design and compensation experience
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline

Nice to Have

• Experience within the insurance industry
• Experience with skills framework and skills mapping
• Organizational design certification or professional designation such as CPHR

Responsibilities

• Conduct organizational design and job design activities
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop operating models, organizational structures, and workflows
• Develop job descriptions, job profiles, and job questionnaires
• Develop and improve organizational design and job evaluation frameworks, tools, templates, and resources
• Participate in the development of a corporate skills taxonomy and associated proficiencies
• Support job evaluations and organizational design and compensation initiatives
• Deliver organizational design proposals and related job design deliverables
