Position Description:
CGI's Winnipeg team is building a pipeline of experienced Solution Architects / Implementation Specialists with deep, hands-on experience implementing Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. While we may not have an immediate opening, we anticipate future client demand and are interested in connecting with professionals who have successfully led WMS implementations from design through configuration and go-live.
This role profile is intended to identify talent for upcoming opportunities that may arise within our Blue Yonder practice. Qualified candidates will be considered as project needs develop..
While the role is less day‑to‑day hands‑on configuration, the ideal candidate must be able to go deep technically as needed, validate configuration decisions, ensure alignment with Blue Yonder best practices, and provide authoritative guidance throughout implementation and optimization phases.

Solution Architecture & Design
-Own and govern the end‑to‑end solution architecture for Blue Yonder WMS implementations, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with CGI and client enterprise standards
-Translate business and operational requirements into practical WMS architectural designs, configuration strategies, and integration patterns
-Review and validate SI solution designs and configuration approaches to ensure adherence to Blue Yonder recommended practices and SaaS constraints
Implementation Oversight & Best Practices
-Partner with client IT and business teams to ensure optimal configuration of warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, inventory, labor, yard, and automation interfaces
-Provide hands‑on technical insight when needed, including deep dives into configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Integration & Technical Governance
-Define and oversee integration architecture between Blue Yonder WMS and adjacent systems
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement
-Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, operations, IT teams, and SIs throughout the program lifecycle
-Facilitate design reviews, configuration workshops, and risk assessments
-Mentor client teams on Blue Yonder WMS capabilities, limitations, and operational best practice
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting successful Blue Yonder WMS implementations from design through go-live
Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics operations
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Experience collaborating with clients, system integrators, and cross-functional delivery teams
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
