Job description
Kieswetter Excavating Inc. is a leader in excavating, site grading and site servicing activities; Working on many of the area's highest-profile projects. Requirements:
  • Must be able to travel to and from the job site.
  • Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
  • Valid Driver s License.
  • Ability to communicate and take direction.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in an outdoor environment.
  • Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to recognize, communicate and eliminate hazards.

Experience Requirements:
  • Must have experience working in/around heavy equipment outdoors.
  • Preferred experience in civil construction, landscaping and road work.
  • Knowledge of how to read drawings.
  • Must have experience with hand tools, jumping jacks and diesel plates.

Responsibilities:
  • Works as a team with all types of hand tools.
  • Inspects and maintains the equipment if/when operates.
  • Performs other tasks as needed.
  • Complies with the Company Safety Program.
  • Organization of job awareness and methods.
  • Communication of any discrepancy.
  • Ability to plan ahead.
  • Cognitively aware of job tasks and planning.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime.
  • Ability to work 10-14hours a day.

Work Location: Mostly working in Hagersville some travel to Waterloo Region.
