This permanent full-time position reports to the Senior Manager of IT Services and demands a strong background in database administration. Candidates must possess a 4-Year university degree and over 6 years of relevant experience in managing cloud databases, particularly with Azure. The role involves maintaining high standards for security, reliability, and efficient data governance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Databricks environments, clusters, and libraries
• Oversee Unity Catalog for data governance and security
• Optimize cloud database services for performance and reliability
• Design and test disaster recovery plans for business continuity
• Conduct routine health checks and compliance verifications
Requirements:
• 4-Year university education in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 6 years database administration experience
• Expertise in Azure services and optimization strategies
• Strong skills in HA/DR planning and execution
• Experience with security and compliance in databases
