Job description
Become the Assistant Controller at FTAI Aviation in Montreal, where you'll shape financial strategies and enhance reporting processes. This position emphasizes internal control compliance and operational collaboration. As part of the FTAI Aviation team, you will guide financial analysts and oversee functions in accounts payable and inventory. Your role involves supporting the month-end close, working directly with auditors, and streamlining financial reporting processes. This is a significant position in aiding the company’s strategic decision-making through sound financial insights. Key Responsibilities: • Guide a team in accounts payable and inventory functions • Oversee month-end close and financial reporting • Prepare and support external auditor communications • Maintain and enforce accounting policies and controls • Enhance financial systems for improved reporting accuracy Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred • 5-7+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 experience valued • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with G/L systems • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical capabilities • Ability to manage workloads in deadline-driven environments Utilize your expertise to impact financial strategies as an Assistant Controller at FTAI Aviation in Montreal. #J-18808-Ljbffr
