Larlyn Property Management is seeking an experienced and driven
Property Managerto add to our Ontario condominium management team.
This role is ideal for a CMRAO Licensed Property Manager who is confident managing their own portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of condominium corporations, supporting Board relations, managing budgets, ensuring operational excellence, and helping guide Property Managers in meeting service, compliance, and reporting expectations.
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamicwith a strong background in property management to join our growing team Golden Horseshoe region. The ideal candidate will have experience with Yardi and a passion for advancing their career in property management. This is a fast-paced industry requiring a fast-paced individual who is eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities Include:
Portfolio and Administration Management
- Manage a portfolio of residential condominium corporations, including townhouse and high-rise communities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Boards of Directors, owners, residents, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare for and attend Board meetings, Annual General Meetings, town halls, and other required meetings.
- Ensure timely follow-up on Board directives, resident concerns, contractor matters, and operational issues.
- Oversee day-to-day property operations, maintenance coordination, service contracts, and building-related concerns.
- Prepare, review, and manage annual condominium budgets in collaboration with Boards and internal accounting teams.
- Monitor operating expenses, reserve fund planning, arrears, and financial performance for assigned corporations.
- Ensure properties are managed in accordance with the Condominium Act, CMRAO requirements, Board directions, management agreements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure properties are maintained to Larlyn’s standards.
- Handles day-to-day site administartion. checking contractor work, delivering notices, walking the site for issues, managing amenities, and flagging concerns.
- General administration duties such as filing, ordering supplies, maintenance requests, etc as assigned.
- Handle tenants move-ins and move-outs in Yardi with accurate data entry and workflow updates.
- Coordinate with functional teams to support month-end requirements, update financial documentation, and ensure all tenant and property files are complete.
Education:
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field.
Experience and qualifications:
- Minimum - years office experience or in related role/field
- CMRAO General Licence is required.
- Must have a valid Ontario G driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for site visits and portfolio-related travel
- Training in property management or related discipline is preferred
- Background in a client-centered, third-party management environment.
- Experience guiding day-to-day administrative work and supporting a team’s performance.
- Proven ability to work independently while coordinating with functional teams and other departments.
Skills & Competencies:
- CMRAO Licence is required.
- Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Clear, professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong judgement in solving problems and addressing issues as they arise.
