Job Title: General Helper in Production Facility

Job Description

Join our dynamic production team as a General Helper, supporting machine operators in a bustling manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting with various departments, including tac welding and shear machines, without the need for forklift experience. Contribute to the efficient operation of our production line by engaging in activities such as loading and unloading parts onto the line, manually assembling product frames using hand and power tools, and ensuring products are properly bagged and prepared for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators in the production facility.
• Support the paint line by loading and unloading parts, lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Manually assemble frames using basic hand and power tools.
• Ensure products are properly wrapped and packaged for shipping with cardboard end caps.

Essential Skills

• Six months of recent general labor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic hand tool experience.
• Ability to consistently lift 20-30 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools, such as drills, hammers, and rivet guns.
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility.
• Computer skills are an asset.

Work Environment

Work in a safe and forward-thinking manufacturing facility specializing in large products. The work can be repetitive with long hours of standing, but safety and teamwork are top priorities. The afternoon shift runs from 3:00pm to 1:30am, Monday through Thursday, with a competitive pay structure.
