Job description
Calling all Accounts Payable Clerks! We have an exciting opportunity located in Acton through Randstad Finance & Accounting.

Randstad has partnered with a reputable organization in the manufacturing industry looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team, located in Acton.

Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Acton (Fully Onsite)
Rate of Pay: $22.00 – $25.00/hr
Job Type: 3-month contract (with potential extension and conversion)

Responsibilities
• Reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices with high accuracy
• Performing three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving account discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assisting with weekly payment runs via electronic funds transfers (EFT) and checks
• Communicating professionally with internal teams and external vendors to address payment inquiries
• Maintaining organized financial records and assisting with month-end closing tasks

Qualifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, data entry)
• Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and effective communication abilities
• Experience using ERP and credit card reconciliation
