Title: Team Lead - Fulfillment

Location: North Bay, Ontario, P1A 0E7 (On-site)

Shift time: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Position Summary

The Team Lead - Fulfillment assists in executing daily workflow demands to achieve outbound shipment deadlines in a safe and efficient manner, following all Company policies and procedures. In addition to daily assigned functions within the operation, the Team Lead - Fulfillment supports the coordination and assignment of work in the Fulfillment area to achieve objectives as communicated by the Warehouse Supervisor; ensures productivity and quality targets are achieved; and provides training and support to team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Fulfillment operations to achieve production targets and support operational objectives.
• Provide day-to-day direction, work assignment, training, and support to Fulfillment team members to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor workflow, productivity and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs); take appropriate action and escalate concerns as needed to support service and operational requirements.
• Perform and support daily warehouse and fulfillment activities, including operational checks, packing, shipping, and distribution activities, and ensure quality control checks are completed prior to shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and operational reporting, including the completion and upkeep of required documentation, reports, and tracking tools.
• Lead by example in all work activities by demonstrating effective communication, professionalism, and providing guidance on appropriate workplace behaviours.
• Inform Management of problems or concerns related to quality, processes, equipment, materials, labour, shipment irregularities, non-conformances, and potential service impacts.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, quality standards, security requirements, confidentiality obligations, and health and safety procedures.
• Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Participate in required training and apply knowledge gained on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience working hands-on in a warehouse setting.

Job Knowledge and Skills

• Computer literacy including MS Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
• Order picking, data entry, inventory management, and forklift/order picker experience is preferred.
