Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a Manager, Food Services PG with management and leadership experience to join our Support Services department.

The Manager, Food Services – Prince George manages the overall operations of services within Prince George. The Manager is responsible for financial, strategic and operational planning, management of the implementation of policies and processes, capital expenditures, cost control strategies and human resource practices. The incumbent networks within the regional structure for the integration of services.

Starting salary will be approximately from $90,770 to $113,462 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
•Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics with seven (7) to ten (10) years recent experience in a similar role in an organization of moderate complexity;
• Member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of BC and Dietitians of Canada.
• Food Safe Level 1 and 2.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience with CBORD Food and Nutrition, or other diet software an asset.
• Valid BC Driver’s License and access to reliable vehicle.

• Ability to analyze operational problems and recommend innovative solutions.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term goals, objectives and projects and deliver customer focused results.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness and response.
• Knowledge of safety and lockout procedures.
• Knowledge and skills in auditing food services in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels of the organization and with representatives in other health care facilities, community agencies and academic institutions.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
